Shreve Memorial Library Children's Book Festival

The Shreve Memorial Library Children's Book Festival is held annually on the first Saturday of May in conjunction with Children's Book Week. The family-friendly festival welcomes children of all ages to celebrate the joy of reading. The event is free to the public and features both local and national children's authors and illustrators, costumed characters, interactive games and activities for children, a Literacy Lane featuring community partners, great food and lots of fun.

Shreve Memorial Library Foundation supports the Shreve Memorial Library Children's Book Festival by raising funds to bring in nationally renown children's authors and to offset costs associated with the production of the festival so that the event remains free and open to all. There is no cost to attend the festival.
