Mission Statement
The Shreve Memorial Library Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to securing and managing funds, beyond those provided from public sources, to assist the Shreve Memorial Library System with emphasis on early literacy and lifelong learning.

Our goal is to provide resources for programs and services to further enrich and enhance the library system, beyond those provided by public funds. Believing that the public library is the true heart of the literary community, the Foundation also seeks to support early literacy and lifelong learning.
Dream, Discover, Do... MORE with the Shreve Memorial Library Foundation. Shreve Memorial Library serves millions of patrons by providing resources, services and support needed to create a better world for the people of Caddo Parish. With 21 branch locations, mobile library services, and 24/7 e-Branch, the library provides materials to create and maintain young readers, stimulate imagination and encourage information fluency. Library programs foster lifelong learning for people of all ages, while free Wi-Fi and public computers allow patrons to stay informed and connect to others across the world. Library staff provide ready references and answer hundred of thousands of questions yearly.
